Winterfest 2012 Highlights

The silver group competed in the 10^th annual Winterfest Invitation at the University of Maryland January 13-15. The swim meet consisted of roughly 46 teams and 1700 swimmers for the Mid-Atlantic region. As a team SJAC finished an impressive third place overall! Congratulations to all the swimmers on their team and individual success. Below are some highlights from that weekend.

DECEMBER 19, 2011

It was another successful meet for the Silver group. There were so many highlights in the 2 day meet. Topping the list is the first place finish for SJAC. This was a team effort and a team win! CONGRATULATIONS! Silver dropped an impressive 10 and half minutes as a team.

Laura Strachan -11.38, Emily Brandt -17.25, Gillian Peters -21.94, & Lauren Morrison -25.70. Way to go girls!!

All of the swimmers have been working so hard and it is definitely paying off. We are seeing swimmers consistently improve their strokes and drop time. This is exactly the momentum we need to take into the new year!
